Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-08-17
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LineApp (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What LineApp is
LineApp is a fan-made, community-driven archive of VALORANT lineup videos and guides. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc. VALORANT and all related marks are trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.
2. Accounts
You need an account to submit lineups or save favorites — browsing the Service does not require an account. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be old enough to lawfully agree to these Terms in your jurisdiction.
3. Content you submit
When you submit a lineup — including video, screenshots, descriptions, or any other material ("Submitted Content") — you confirm that:
- the Submitted Content is your own original work (for example, your own gameplay recording), or you otherwise hold all rights necessary to submit it and grant the license below; and
- it does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
3.1 License grant
By submitting content, you grant LineApp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, modify (for example, to compress or format video/images), and otherwise commercially exploit the Submitted Content in connection with operating and promoting the Service — including through advertising, paid subscriptions, or any other monetization model, now existing or introduced in the future.
This is a license, not a transfer of ownership — you keep whatever rights you had in your own content. But it means Submitted Content is not private: it is shown publicly immediately upon submission (see Section 4) and is subject to commercial use as described above, so you should not submit anything you want to keep confidential or restrict from public/commercial use.
3.2 Removal
You may delete your own lineups at any time through the Service, which removes them from public display going forward. This does not affect any use of the content that already occurred while it was live (for example, cached copies, prior displays, or already-served advertising impressions).
4. Quality review, not a visibility gate
Every submitted lineup is publicly visible immediately — there's no private or "pending" state. What differs is a quality badge: a lineup is marked "Unverified" until an administrator has checked that it's accurate and complete, at which point it's marked "Verified." Unverified lineups remain fully visible and usable in the meantime; the badge exists so you can judge how much to trust a lineup you haven't tried yourself, not to hide anything. LineApp may edit, remove, or change the verification status of any Submitted Content at its sole discretion, for any reason, including suspected copyright infringement, inaccurate information, or violations of these Terms.
5. Prohibited content
Don't submit content that: isn't actually yours to share; is illegal, harassing, or hateful; contains malware or malicious links; or otherwise violates Riot Games' own policies for VALORANT-related content.
6. Termination
LineApp may suspend or terminate your account, at its discretion, for violating these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Lineup accuracy is community-submitted and reviewed on a best-effort basis, not guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LineApp is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
